this household mini shredder is made of laser cutting，For recycling 3D printed plastics like ABS, PLA,PVC etc. Particularly suitable for processing plastic sheet waste produced by CNC cutting.
The cutting width is 90MM,
If you use a 350W DC motor to drive it,It can handle plastic sheets with a thickness of 4MM.
It can handle aluminum cans, but not other metals. If you need to use other materials, please consult me first.

Worm reducer is NMRV050, reduction ratio is 100:1;（Since the courier company refused to transport the reducer with oil. So I used a small amount of molybdenum disulfide lithium grease instead, Please add oil to the reducer before long time use. It is recommended to use L-CKE320 worm gear oil,About $10 for 4 liters.Only 100-200 ml is needed）
The main body is stainless steel，
The blade is 420 stainless steel, Quench hardening, Grind both sides, 60% edges are sharpened. Surface polished;
（420 stainless steel can be heat treated, but it will still slowly rust in a humid environment. If you want to clean the blades, use WD40 or a dedicated cleaner, don’t just use water.）
Each blade is grinded on both sides , have the same thickness and a highly reflective surface；
The plug to prevent clogging is stainless steel.
Hex shaft is 304 stainless steel；
Gears are hardened steel；
Screws are 12.9 grade steel；
Coupling is 6061 aluminum alloy;
NA4903 needle roller bearings;
The shell of the reducer is aluminum .
If you need to use it for a long time, please loosen the screws on the reducer to release the heat.

If you want to use plastic scraps for filament, be sure to wash them in hot water, use a filter to remove fine powder impurities, and then dry them.This is a necessary process.
Note: The shredder may produce micron-level metal contamination when processing materials. Washing the shredded plastic in hot water and then drying it can remove impurities, which is a necessary process in plastic recycling.
But it is not suitable for processing food or materials that require zero pollution.
If you are in EU, in order to reduce the probability of customs seizing the package, the reducer and shredder will be sent separately, you can combine it in the order in the last picture.
